Originally known as Frog Lane, Church Lane is at the end of an ancient footpath which corresponds to today’s Culmington and Churchfields Roads along which people from Ealing Dean would come to church in the old village. Church Lane itself contains some of the oldest houses in Ealing. Paul Fitzmaurice takes us down another memory lane of old Ealing.
